Founded by Army Cyber Warfare Officer Sheriff Bangura, Aplus Capabilities brings together experts in software engineering, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and government operations. Our team blends military precision with academic rigor to build trustworthy, effective technology.
Leadership
Sheriff Bangura has a B.S. of Computer Science from the Citadel and pursuing a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at Capitol Technology University. His dissertation leverages AI to optimize onboard electronical hardware and software performance for electric powertrains.
Industry experience includes designing and managing cutting-edge cloud solutions as a Cloud Engineer at Amazon Web Services. In commitment of National Security, Sheriff serves as a Cyber Warfare Officer in the Army Reserves for (8) years.
Sheriff founded Aplus Capabilities to utilize his leadership and experience in the technology space to bring impactful solutions for philanthropic causes. A portion of profits are donated to the Richard O. Honeycutt Foundation he founded to support STEM majors at The Citadel.
Beyond business, he spends time volunteering, running charity races, and watching Manchester City soccer team play. He also enjoys time with family and friends.
